What goes in the compost bin?
If it grows, it goes. Fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds and filters, tea bags, eggshells, bread, and cut flowers all belong in the bin.
Keep out plastic, glass, metal, and pet waste. When in doubt, leave it out and ask us.
How does the compost swap work?
Set your 4 gallon bin out on your pickup day. We take the full one and leave a clean one in its place, so you never wash a bin.
Do I need to sort my recycling?
No. Recycling is single stream, so paper, cardboard, cans, and plastic bottles all go in together. Rinse containers and flatten boxes so everything fits.
When should my bins be at the curb?
By 7 a.m. on your pickup day, lids closed, with a little space between each bin.
What is the difference between weekly and every other week?
Weekly service picks up every week on your day. Every other week service picks up on the same day, every second week. You can pick a different schedule for each bin.
Can I pay for the whole year?
Yes. Weekly trash, weekly recycling, and weekly compost each come with an annual billing option, so you pay once instead of every month. See every plan on Pricing.
How do I change my plan or update my card?

What happens on holidays?
When a holiday falls on a weekday, pickup runs one day late for the rest of that week. We send a reminder before any schedule change.
Do you serve businesses?
Yes. Offices, restaurants, shops, and apartment communities can get trash, recycling, and compost on a schedule that fits. Request a quote and we will put one together.
Where do you pick up?
Nine intown Atlanta neighborhoods, from Vinings and Riverside to Kirkwood and Decatur. Find your neighborhood or check your address when you sign up.
